In 2003, the Ministry of Education Affair had established the Center of Life and Trendy Goods Design (LTGD) in NCKU, also known as LTGD, and the LTGD has shared resources with cutting edge studio in everyday product and design and partner schools such as: NTUT, NTUA and THU in Taichung.

　In 2008, LTGD changed its name into Educational Resource Center for Creative Design.

　Furthermore, LTGD has allied with leading design colleges, hired famous design academics to hold lectures in Taiwan, and develop design information websites in order to bring up international designers.

　Now the LTGD has cooperative relationships internationally and domestically with various institutions, universities, design studios and famous corporations.
